For my Final Major Project, I wanted to explore a serious and often overlooked topic in an innovative and creative way. While the fashion industry has made strides towards inclusivity, I noticed a significant gap when it comes to the representation of mature women. This inspired me to create a modelling agency that exclusively represents older women. The project aims to highlight the social challenges women face as they age, particularly the lack of visibility and opportunities within the fashion and media industries.
To bring this concept to life, I worked with three incredible women from diverse backgrounds, who became the faces of the agency. Through this project, I wanted to challenge viewers to reflect on why older generations are rarely positioned as influencers—despite their wealth of knowledge, life experience, and the value they could offer to younger audiences. Ultimately, the project encourages a shift in perspective, advocating for greater appreciation and inclusion of older women in fashion and culture.

There were several sources of inspiration behind the creation of this agency, including the film The Substance, anti-ageism activists, and the thought-provoking work of artist Bharti Kher. For visual and content inspiration, I looked to Vogue—from its iconic front covers and editorial layouts to its storytelling approach. One of the key pieces in this project is a series of "Life in Looks" videos, inspired by Vogue’s YouTube format. I felt this concept was a powerful way to introduce the women on a deeper, more personal level—allowing viewers to connect with their stories, celebrate their style evolution, and begin to see them as the inspiring influencers they truly are.
